The Embassy Suites hotel will never be the same.  It all started when we pulled into the lot only to realize that the Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown had invaded the hotel.  Conventions draw folks of all sorts and this one may have drawn more then it's share of sorts. But...my girls take the cake.  After successfully negotiating an elevator ride sans parents they find  themselves in trouble.  As you might have guessed we arrived at the lobby only to find that the girls had disobeyed orders and were no where to be found.  Seconds turned into minutes and calm  turned into accelerating determination as security ran up and informed us that all the girls were stuck in the elevator.  About 15 mins later the hotel engineer reset the elevator and was not pleased that a bunch of excited girls jumped up and down (of course vehemently denied) and disrupted elevator service to the hotel. Sure, this does not look like much, however John has not packed his things yet and there are still items that need to be sorted, stacked and stuffed. We are getting closer.  Patti checked and the first day in Rome calls for rain and The Vatican is closed as it will be a Sunday.  Need to add raingear to the pile.

On our way in just a week.  Really looking forward to what the Lord would have for us. Just installed this app for creating blog posts.  Interested to see how it works.  Should work for offline preparation as well, that is nice. Need to monkey around a bit more so I can get accustomed to this. Anyway, this will be the method of update for our trip and I suspect the look and feel will change as I gain some expertise at this app.  Bye for now.
